Kurtz Legal Video Services fully recognizes and maintains confidentiality for our clients. All information provided to Kurtz Legal Video Services will be treated professionally and kept confidential.
Scheduling / Booking:
Kurtz Legal Video Services will work to accommodate your scheduling and booking needs. If we are already scheduled for an assignment, we will work to have another Certified Videographer to cover your legal video request. Also, while we understand some of our clients may take contingency cases, please understand that Kurtz Legal Video Services requires payment in full for our services net 30 days from invoice date. Accepting deposition work on a contingency basis is in violation of the AGCV code of ethics.
Early Location Access:
Kurtz Legal Video Services provides the best client service possible and that service includes arriving at least one hour prior to our scheduled start time. In all cases, Kurtz Legal Video Services will require early access to the location for setting up and testing our equipment and environment. We also require proper and accurate directions, access and information on location parking as well. We arrive early to identify and attempt to correct any possible problems or obstacles prior to the start of our video coverage.
When we arrive early and do not have the access agreed upon, you should expect that we will not be able to start at the scheduled deposition start time. Rules and policies does not allow us to “shortcut” our setup process as it jeopardizes the quality of our product and as a result the quality of your efforts.
If Kurtz Legal Video Services receives notice of cancellation at least 24 hours before our agreed to scheduled appointment, there is no charge. All cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of our scheduled assignment, will be billed for our minimum service rate.
Once our crews have departed for and / or arrived at the contracted assignment location & the scheduled appointment is a no show or called off, a minimum two hour rate will be charged.
Stand By Appointments:
We do cover assignments as "Stand By Appointments" for our clients, those appointments tentatively scheduled for a certain time, date, and location are ready to be covered as requested. But should those appointments be cancelled prior to leaving our office for the assignment location there will be no charge.
Any scheduled appointment that starts later than the scheduled time is referred to as a “delayed session”, and appropriate billing charges will be applied to the scheduled time regardless of how late the delayed session starts.
If Kurtz Legal Video Services is requested to work beyond the appointed times scheduled, after 5pm on weekdays, or scheduled appointments on weekends and holidays, our hourly rate will be 1 & 1/2 times that of our standard contract rates.
Delivery of Materials:
Kurtz Legal Video Services provides delivery of materials for our clients. If at all possible, we will hand deliver our materials to your office or specified location. We use UPS or Federal Express services for deliveries as well. At Kurtz Legal Video Services, our final product deliveries are accompanied with an official “Receipt For Video Documents” that we require to be signed upon acceptance. We believe that fully documenting the chain of evidence is vital for providing and maintaining seamless service. Please be aware that once we deliver our materials, we can no longer verify product authenticity and therefore we strongly recommend safeguarding your video document with your own paper trail systems.
Billing, Invoices, & Late Payments:
All Billing is due net 30 days upon invoice for services unless otherwise stated in the contract agreement. While we understand some of our clients may take contingency cases, Kurtz Legal Video Services requires payment in full for our services. Accepting deposition work on a contingency basis is in violation of the AGCV code of ethics. Any and all late payments will be charged an additional minimum of $25.00 per invoice.
